Seeing

i saw you
walking down the street
a single smile that crossed my face
all because of you

i saw you
looking back, head held high
just a nod to say you know
how much you affect me

i saw you
look away again, walk a little faster
away from my sight and
the hurt that's evident inside

i saw you
this time i looked away
before you had the chance to see me
and kill the joy i had

life is relatively harmless to me right now. even though i didn't do exactly what i would consider well on the math test, life is harmless. for now. it's just 2 more days to a much needed holiday, of which is already packed. but anything is better than studying right? there is much to do and little time to do it.
